Vietnam is one of a friendly and safe
place that has the great worth for travelling in the world. To achieve a fun
trip, however, you not only have a cool head and sensible planning to avoid the
sudden problems during your trip, but also need to find related information
about your destination and amend your list accordingly.
If
you go to Vietnam, you will know
that Vietnam is divided into two main climates: The Northern part of Vietnam (Hanoi, Sapa,..) and the Southern part ( Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh city,…). In
the Northern part, the weather is very chilly in the winter months and thus you
will need a coat, scarf, sweaters, jeans
and boots to stay warm. The Southern part, in contrast, it is hot all the
time and you will want lightweight
linen pants, cotton dresses and skirts. Appropriate dress differs from
North to South. Dress in the Northern is a bit more formal than the fashionable
South. If traveling on business, jackets and ties are usually appropriate,
regardless of the weather. Remember that Vietnam is a tropical country and most
of the year it is warm and humid, so if you are not used to tropical weather,
be prepared to change your clothes two or three times a day.
Generally,
the Vietnamese are used to European
styles and western dress has
been adopted. So you can wear everything that makes you feel comfortable and
convenient such as shirts, shorts, jeans
(ag jeans, joes jeans,..)
These
below details will help you know exactly what should you do or don’t (not only
in Vietnam but also all others you want to go):
•Do
check the climate of your destination, and then see what kind of clothes you require.
•Do
remember to take leisure wear which will keep you relaxed and comfortable.
•Do
remember to take clothes that dry
easily.
•Do
remember to take a waterproof and umbrella.
•Do
not take too many formal clothes, one or two is enough.
•Do
not bring natural fibred clothing as it is hard to dry and are heavier than
synthetics.
•Do
not forget to bring sunhat, sunglasses
and sun block in summer
•Do
not forget to take you toiletries and your personal items such as toothbrush,
towel and so on.
•Do
not take sturdy clothes
•Do
not wear military-styled clothing in case of unnecessary misunderstandings.
Have
a nice trip!
